Electrical Safety & Compliance Checks – New Obligations for Landlords
Under the new Residential Tenancies Regulations 2021 (RTR) all residential tenancies are required to undergo an electrical safety check of all electrical installations, fittings and appliances provided by a rental provider (the Landlord) in the rented premises.
The electrical safety and compliance check must be carried out every 2 years by a licensed and registered electrician.

Peak Power Electrical will provide a Certificate of Compliance together with a comprehensive report detailing the results of the safety check, including any repairs required as well as actions taken to address any issues or repairs.
